We are excited to announce that thanks in part to your support of Yuba Expeditions and the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship, our $6,600 donation from last year's shuttle business helped Sierra Frontier Medical Resources hire a full-time paramedic in Downieville!
Martin "Marty" Creel has nearly 25 years of experience as a paramedic and firefighter in both public and private ambulance services. Before coming to Downieville, he was employed full-time as the EMS officer for South Lake Tahoe Fire and Rescue. The price increase to $25/shuttle will continue to fund this full-time paramedic into the future, providing both the local community and our valued visitors emergency medical services Sierra County.
