Downieville Guided Adventure Tour

The Lowdown

The Classic MTB Ride:

One of the most classic MTB rides in California! With 5,300 feet of descending over 15 miles, the famous Downieville Downhill is on every mountain biker's bucket list. Start at Packer Saddle beneath the jagged peaks of the Sierra Buttes and hit the swoopy Sunrise trail before dropping into Butcher Ranch, which serves up a potpourri of singletrack: smooth, fast, rocky, technical, steep, tight, forested. Save your energy because you’re going to need it! Then it’s onto the warp-speed of Third Divide, before finishing on First Divide and into Downieville.

Technically Awesome:

Not for the faint of heart, this techy trail will challenge you with tricky roots, rock gardens, and the iconic "Waterfall" section.  Drop through massive old growth trees, let go of the brakes and commit to the mind-numbing speed that Downieville is known for.

Chill Out:

Add a chill zone for your party and drop down into a shady meadow, complete with your lunch order delivered, chairs, beers, beverages, and music. Chill out and refuel.
